Episode 204[]
Before Andrew was summoned to the stage, a clip of him and the other three contestants, Petros Kusmu, Neila Scott, and Katy Warren, introducing themselves was shown. In this clip, apart from introducing himself, Andrew stated that he has summited mountains and bungee jumped, but that this time, he is seeking the title of Canada's Smartest Person. In the first challenge, Definition Dilemma, Andrew got 7 correct answers. As a result, Andrew finished in 1st place and was awarded 5 overall points.
In the second challenge, Human Lie Detector, Andrew was the second contestant to ask guest Alan Thicke his question about one of his stories. He asked how his professional relationship had been with Melanie Griffith prior to the incident. Alan replied that the two had friendly communication and that he had even been a fan of hers prior to them meeting. Andrew, Neila, and Katy all got 3 correct answers, but Alan deemed that Katy's question was better than the other two's questions and that Andrew's question was better than Neila's question. As a result, Andrew finished in 3rd place and was awarded 2 overall points.
In the third challenge, Pipe Fitter, Andrew successfully connected his plumbing system and filled his glass 50 seconds into the challenge. As a result, Andrew finished in 1st place and was awarded 5 overall points. In the fourth challenge, Stack of Shapes, Andrew got 3 correct answers. As a result, Andrew finished in 2nd place and was awarded 3 overall points.
In the fifth challenge, Step Squad, Andrew was the second contestant to perform his improvised solo at the challenge's midpoint. Guest judge Sean Cheesman ranked Andrew in 3rd place for his overall performance in the challenge and Andrew was awarded 4 overall points as a result. After the first five challenges, Andrew had received a total of 19 overall points. As a result, he finished in 3rd place and was eliminated along with Neila. Jessi prompted applause for Andrew and Neila in spite of their shared elimination.
After the sixth and final challenge, the Gauntlet, ended and Katy was declared the fourth finalist of the season, Andrew and the other three contestants celebrated onstage with Jessi.
